Dr Brown has retired after 30 years with Sandhurst Group Practice - We all thank him for his hard work

We are currently actively recruiting for a replacement and as soon as we have made a successful appointment we will made this known to all.  Please bear with us and in the meantime his patient will be fully covered by our Registrars and Locum GPs.

 Dr Boardman's named patient list  will be looked after by Dr Tanner with immediate effect and she will officially join us as a Full Time GP week commencing 19th August 2019

 

Our Home Visits are now carried out by our new Paramedic - he will have ID for checking and will arrive in a normal car.  He has full access to your notes and will be communicating with your Named GP.  Please request a Home Visit through Reception as normal.  The Paramedic may  phone to check your symptoms and the emergency beforehand so make sure we have your correct contact details.

We no longer offer Travel advice & Clinics. You  will need to go to your local Travel Clinic for this advice or go online to a travel Website.  Some larger Chemists also offer Travel Clinics.

At our recent CQC inspection our rating was 'GOOD' in all areas

  You are able to book appointments online and view your medical records as well as order repeat prescriptions to be delivered straight to the chemist of your choice.  Registration is via our prescription page.  For security reasons we ask you to bring into surgery proof of name and address, plus photo ID.

 

 

Practice Training Dates and Closures

Throughout the year the practice provides both medical and administration staff, training to improve their skills and knowledge base. All Practice Staff are required to attend these training days. During this time the surgery will be closed 12:30 onwards. Prior to each training session we will advise patients of the dates with information posters around the surgery and a telephone message to advise patients what to do on the day. When the surgery is shut telephone cover is provided by East Berkshire OOHs service for Emergencies.  We have listed below the dates for 2019/20, for your information. Please note these may be subject to change.
